Prepared. For Life Gala.

This annual event honors those who make a difference in our community by being Prepared. For Life. As NCAC’s largest fundraising event, the evening combines an elegant gala with opportunities for networking, inspiration, and education to generate crucial funding and foster a community dedicated to empowering the leaders of tomorrow, ensuring a lasting and meaningful impact on society.

 Technology Good Scout Award Luncheon

An annual event that recognizes and honors outstanding leaders in the technology industry from within the Greater Washington, DC area who exemplify the values of the Scout Oath and Law in his or her daily life.  The constituency includes top leaders in the technology industry and supports the character-building programs of the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

 Loudoun County Good Scout

An annual award to recognize an exceptional citizen of the Loudoun County area with a distinguished honor. The honoree is someone who has demonstrated outstanding service to the community, has gone above and beyond in contributing toward charitable causes, and is a role model in our region. This person personifies the qualities of a “Good Scout” and is thus recognized in that manner.

National Capital Area Council Golf Classic 2024

Hosted by the Sully and Patriot Districts

This annual event celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022 and welcomes golfers from across the National Capital Area Council to enjoy a day of golfing, good food, fun giveaways, a silent auction, and more, all in support of local Scouting!

Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award Reception

An annual event designed to recognize those individuals and corporations who have been instrumental in the development of Scouting for rural, urban, and suburban youth who often face challenging barriers. This award recognizes “unsung heroes,” those who do exceptional service for disadvantaged youth.

 Character Under Construction Good Scout Award 

An annual event honoring leading organizations projects and individuals in the real estate and construction industries. The program supports the character-building programs of the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
